Recently we received the official announcement of the third season for Arifureta. There was also an official trailer released to tease the production of the next season of the anime. The announcement came officially by Crunchyroll. The announcement came along with the release of the OVA for season 2. Apart from the production announcement we were not provided with any more details on the anime.
There is not much information to cover, so, let’s talk about what we know so far.
Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Season 3 Release Date
The release date of season 3 of Arifureta has been announced yet and all we know is that the anime is in production. I believe that we might get it released in the fall of 2023. Let’s wait for the official announcement of the release date and I will update it as soon as it is available.

The official announcement was made very recently and the preview and the teaser trailer for the third season of the anime were also released. 2nd season was not disappointing and I believe that season 3 is going to be even better. What are your thoughts on it?
Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Plot
Arifureta is an Isekai anime and is one of the good ones I know. The story revolves around the protagonist of the anime known as Hajime. His whole class was transported to a fantasy world to defeat the demons and all of them were given some kind of powers. Hajime had the role of support and was a weak character who just wanted to go back home. However, when they were on a quest, he was betrayed by one of his classmates and falls into the depths of a dangerous dungeon and everyone else assumes him dead. That is when the real story starts as he starts developing into the sort of character that he never would have imagined. He survives in the depth and does everything he could to stay alive and turns ruthless in the process. He then encounters a vampire girl whom he rescues and they both try to get out of the dungeon. In the process, they are revealed to the dark secrets of the world and they go on a journey to discover more about the world as Hajime tries to find a way to get strong enough to go back home.
Brief Review
This anime is really good to watch from the viewpoint of a good story and has a ruthless, logical protagonist who also cares a lot about the people close to him. The story turns dark very early in the anime and it might not be a journey that you might expect as there are a lot of twists and mysteries. If you haven’t watched the anime and like to watch Isekai or dark anime then you should know that this contains both and you should definitely give it a try.
