Sorcerous Stabber Orphen is an old-school anime that was released in the 90s and got its remake in 2020. However, the story depiction in the remake was a lot different from the original anime. There have been two seasons of the anime reboot so far and the 3rd season is set to be aired in the month of January 2023, which is the next year.

The 3rd season of the anime is set to release early in the next year. This edition of the production will also be under the banner of Studio DEEN and is said to contain the arc known as Chaos in Urbanrama in its next feature. For now, it is still in the works, however, a PV and trailer were released by the production team. They also revealed two new cast members for the anime production.
The official announcement was made by Crunchyroll and the first two seasons of the reboot are also available on the platform.

Alongside the announcement, there were two new cast members announced as well and they are:
- Daisuke Ono for the role of Edo.
- Shiki Aoshi as Lottesha
- Shotaro Morikubo as Orphen
- Rumi Ohkubo as Cleo
- Yusuke Kobayashi as Majic
- Marie Mizuno as Volkan
- Mai Fuchigami as Dortin
Sorcerous Stabber Orphen Anime Story
In both the old and the new editions of the anime, the main character of the story is Orphen. He was living an easy life and getting indulged in money-lending activities in a peaceful town when one day he encountered a dragon. That encounter changed his life as the prodigal sorcerer went to look for that dragon. That dragon had some connection with the sister that he had lost named Azalie. There are two more characters that tag along on his journey to save Azalie. However, there are a lot of mysteries that are unknown to them.
The reboot of the anime has added a lot more to the story than the original one and that is one of the reasons why it is getting a third season while the original one could not progress further as it reached a dead end.
