The animation and the art style looks stunning and this was what captivated me to learn more about the Manhua. Though I am not going to read the manhua, I am definitely looking forward to the anime.

Now, let’s start with the topic of its date of release, and to be quite honest even I am eager to learn about the release date of this Donghua. However, unfortunately, there has not been much information available to us that might have hinted at its release date. So all we can do is wait for the officials to drop the bomb. However, the announcement of the Donghua was made a couple of years ago and it is being produced by Tencent Penguin Pictures with Colored Pencil Animation Group leading the charge of animation.

The story of this anime is set up in a historical era which is ruled by Sui Dynasty. However, the Sui Dynasty’s influence has been declining over the years and an era of terror has started to envelop the country. Many new factions are starting to appear with different motives. However, the differences will also start to grow.
The original source of the story is the manhua with the same title which is authored by Xu Xian Zhe. Its first chapter was released in 2015 and there have been more than 100 chapters and a total of 8 volumes ever since then. There were not a lot of reviews but those who did review it said it to be a great storyline. This makes it an even better catch.
