After the completion of its first season, Spy x Family Season 2 is already just around the corner as the official information is revealed recently.
Season 1 was divided into two parts, the first had aired earlier this year and part 2 was a part of the spectacular fall season and concluded the 1st season recently. In fact, I’d go as far as to say it was one of the most trending anime this season.

However, Spy x Family Season 2 is not the only thing that was revealed at Jump Festa. There was also an announcement of an original movie that will get released before the anime series sequel. Let’s jump into all the information that we have received so far!!
Spy x Family Season 2 and Movie Release Date
Not much information about the second season and the movie were revealed, apart from the fact that they are in production and set to release in 2023.

Yes, both the additions to the series will be coming out next year. Still, no specific details (including the release date) have been revealed, yet. There’s nothing to worry about as we will get more information in due time. All we can do for now is wait.
What do we know about Season 2 and the Movie?!

Along with the production confirmation, we received a visual drawn by the original author of the Manga, Tatsuya Endo. The visual was released at the Jump Fest 2023 to commemorate the movie.
The movie will be an original which means it will not follow the anime storyline. Endo is also supervising the movie and creating designs for new characters that will be featured in the new movie.
As for the second season, we will get two arcs that will continue the storyline. The Imperial Scholar Mixer arc is going to be one of the features as well. And as the name suggests, this arc will finally reveal the confrontation between Loid and Desmond, his target for Operation Strix. We all know that this has been Loid’s goal for many episodes in the series. I haven’t read the manga yet, so what will come of this is unknown to me. But, what I can say for certain is that we are in for a whole load of entertainment.
